Since our inception in 1912, the Ross County Humane Society has been committed to the general welfare, shelter and placement of animals, prevention of cruelty and over population, and education concerning humane treatment of all living creatures.
RCHS does not receive any support from the Humane Society of the United States. Nor do we receive any federal or state funding sources. We rely largely on donations, fundraisers and grants for our program activities. All donations are tax deductible

A new 7,000 square feet facility with air quality, noise reduction, and enhanced disease control measures would bring a significant improvement in both the physical and well being of the animals who are being housed in our current facility.
