shelter The Humane Society is a nonprofit corporation governed by a Board of Directors comprised of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to animal welfare. We are committed to the general welfare, sheltering and placement of animals, prevention of cruelty to animals, animal overpopulation, and education concerning humane treatment of all living creatures. The Society is not controlled or funded by any state-wide or national organization. Donations made to national animal welfare groups do not benefit our local pets.

Our work is made possible by the generosity of our community and people who care.  If you are interested in making a donation to the Humane Society, we are always in need of the following supplies:

  • Leashes, Collars, and Leads for all size dogs

Sponsor a Cage

No time to volunteer? Want a pet but can't have them? You can still help the animals while they are in our shelter. Sponsor a Cage! We are also accepting corporate cage sponsors, too! Your name will be affixed to the door of your sponsored cage. Corporate sponsors can also include information about their business on the nameplate.

Sponsoring a cage helps take an animal off the streets. You will be providing a temporary, loving home in hopes of finding a permanent loving family. Your sponsorship may be tax deductible.

Our New Hours Are:
Monday-Saturday 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
