This is Toby. I got her from the Humane Society on March 31, 2004. I was looking for a dog and stop off at the facility to look at the dogs available. Toby was in with a litter of pups who were laying on top of her and treating her like the runt. I took her out of the pin and she could barely stand on her four legs. I took her outside to walk in the play area for the dogs and again she struggled to stay on her feet but she was making such an effort and was so happy to out of the pin of other pups. She had to go home with me.
Toby is know the happiest dog I know. She get so excited to go on walks and play fetch. She is a beagle mix and she loves to use the hound in her. Its so funny to see her stick the nose in the air when she gets a scent. I can not imagine Toby not being around. She is such a big part of my world.
