During the month of April 2007, my dog Barkley was killed by a pack of coyotes. A week later my mom said that I should go to the humane society to look at some of the dogs available. On "Adopt-a-Pet day" I went, and immediately fell in love with a cute Shepherd mix, whom we adopted and named Shiloh. We knew he wouldn't replace our old dog, but he's still found a place in our hearts. Thank you Humane Society!
