I adopted a Lab/Shar-pei back in October and life has not been the same. I never wanted a dog from the pound. I was always the type who thought you had to get a registered pure breed dog. But I picked Benson up at the humane society and never put him back down. He has honestly been so much of my life since. I took off alone and started doing travel nursing in January and he goes with me. I have never seen a dog travel as well as he does. The 17 hour drive to Florida didn't bother him at all.. I can't imagine not having him now. We go to California in June. :)
