Hello!!!!

We adopted Brutus several years ago from the ross county dog pound. We had just moved into our new home out in "the country" where we have 5.5 acres and a large barn. I felt we needed a large watch dog, so I came out to the pound looking for a large dog that would protect our place as well as give us company. I was looking at a set of pups for about a week when this red dog with sad eyes sitting quietly in the back of the pen would just stare at me. Something told me to adopt him!!!! The next day I took my husband out and told him that I needed to pick up our dog. BOY was he mad at me. This dog was losing his hair, had no front teeth, and was about 40lbs and every rib was showing. Now Brutus is my husbands favorite out of all our dogs. He turned out to be the sweetest Red Bone Coonhound, and gets along very well with our other 2 adopted dogs, Bianca, a Brittany Spaniel, and Gunner, our English Springer Spaniel. We also have 5 cats that adore him as well as do my 2 children. He is a wonderful addition to our family, and he diffently isn't a 40lb. dog anymore!!!!!
