Meet "Brutus and Tubby "

Hi. My name is Gwen Morris and I would like to share
an adoption story with you.

I had always wanted a dog with two different colored
eyes. While strumming through the Chillicothe Gazette
I came across the Ross County Humane Society's Pet of
the Week and saw "Tubbie", a very cute, round
Australian shepherd/mixed breed about 6 weeks old with
two different colored eyes. I was not certain that I
really wanted another dog, but I decided to go and
check him out before I made any decision. After
meeting him, I knew without a doubt that I had to have
the "best dog ever".

It was Christmas Eve, so I had to wait until after the
holidays, Tuesday to be exact, to go meet my loyal
companion. I went to meet “Tubbie”, and was instantly
struck by his shy demeanor. His kennel mates ran to
greet me at the door, but calm and collected "Tubbie"
stayed back in the corner. After visiting for only 5
minutes, I knew without a doubt he was going home with
me. After filling out paper work, we were on our way.

He instantly made our house his home and immediately
seemed very comfortable. This sweet lovable guy has
received some very good training. He was quickly
house-broken, and leash trained. I don’t know why he
ended up at the shelter, but I’m very happy that he
chose me to be his new forever mommy!!! He loves
other dogs, especially his "nephew 'Brutus'" (a dog
that my daughter adopted dog from the humane society),
cats, kids, and everyone he meets. He’s so calm and
friendly and not only that, he’s super handsome too!
