Annie was a starving, stray beagle found in the Bainbridge area in February '06. She had a dislocated hip, was severely underweight, had kennel cough, bronchitis, inflmmatory bowel disease and had a severe case of hookworms. She was truly a pathetic sight. A friend of mine saw her shaking and frightened in a cage at the shelter and took her home out of pity. A week later my friend convinced me to "foster" her. Well, nearly 2 years later I'm still "fostering" her. After nearly a year of frequent vet visits she was finally restored to good health, not to mention a bit fat. She has been a truly wonderful pet. She is very sweet and lovable and is a great pal to my other two dogs. Life wouldn't be the same without her.
