By becoming a friend of the Humane Society, you will be supporting the prevention of cruelty to animals, placement of animals in good homes through our adoption center, the sheltering of unwanted and lost animals, prevention of pet over population and education of humane treatment of animals.

We welcome suggestions, new friends, volunteers and donations.

How to help the Humane Society

Each year the Ross County Humane Society cares for more than 3,500 pets. Please help us to continue our efforts by making a financial contribution for the animals. There are many ways you can help.

Helping the animals has never been easier. You can donate through gifts of pet food, supplies, equipment, professional services, secure monetary gifts and/or planned estate giving.

Among the items on our wish list are: Kitten and Puppy Food, Clean blankets, Clean towels, rugs (but NOT with rubber backs)
